How long do I have to keep my ticket before I can throw it away?
The ticket must be kept by the passenger until they leave the platform at the destination station. Inspections are not just permitted on the train but on the platform too.
The legal basis is Article 13(a) 3 of the Railway Transportation Act (EisbBFG).
