Legal aspects of bus trips Obligation to provide information

What are the bus operators, terminal operators and passengers' obligations to provide information?

Passengers must be informed by the company or, where appropriate, by the bus terminal operator, of delays and cancellations and their likely effects as soon as possible but no later than 30 minutes after the scheduled departure time. The information must be provided via the existing information channels (e.g. counters, ticket machines, notices, monitors and, if possible, also electronically).

The legal bases are Articles 20 and 25 of Regulation (EU) No 181/2011.
