Accessibility Notification of assistance

Do people with disabilities have to give notice for assistance?

For bus services:

It is necessary for passengers to give 36 hours’ notice of the assistance required and to arrive in good time before the departure time for companies to be able to make arrangements. Even if there is no notification, companies are obliged to provide the best possible support for people with disabilities.

For rail services:

It is necessary for passengers to give 48 hours’ notice of the assistance required before starting their trip and to arrive in good time at the station before departure (60 minutes at most and 30 minutes at least before the scheduled departure time) so that the best support can be provided.

In the case of trips consisting of several sections or if different companies are involved, we recommend that you provide all companies with the complete data, such as the timetable, at which stations you need assistance, etc. Even if there is no notification, companies are obliged to provide the best possible support.
